Aprons We’ve Fixed Up

did one over in avondale — driveway was sinkin’ where it met the road. folks said every time it rained, it turned into a puddle. we tore it out, fixed the base, and poured a sloped apron with a nice joint to the street. now the water flows out, not in.

another house in westside, they widened the driveway but left the apron narrow. looked weird and made it hard to turn in. we poured a new matching apron edge, and now it lines up perfect. said they don’t have to do the 3-point-turn anymore.
